About

"A live-action roleplaying murder mystery game."

Clouds roll in over Ravenswood Bluff, engulfing this sleepy town and its superstitious inhabitants in foreboding shadow. Freshly washed clothes dance eerily on lines strung between cottages. Chimneys cough plumes of smoke into the air. Exotic scents waft through cracks in windows and under doors as hidden cauldrons lie bubbling. An unusually warm autumn breeze wraps around vine-covered walls and whispers ominously to those brave enough to walk the cobbled streets.

Anxious mothers call their children home from play as thunder begins to clap on the horizon. If you listen more closely, however, noises stranger still can be heard echoing from the neighboring forest. Under the watchful eye of a looming monastery, silhouetted figures skip from doorway to doorway. Those who can read the signs know there is Trouble Brewing.

  • Game System: Blood on the Clocktower RPG

  • Experience Level: 🟩 No experience necessary. This is a LEARN-TO-PLAY event and we love teaching!

Life-Action Roleplaying Murder Mystery

Blood on the Clocktower is a larger scale (22 players) social deduction murder-mystery game where you will take on the role of one of the villagers (or THE KILLER) from Ravenswood Bluff. A killer has come to your small town and you need to investigate and decide who it was before they kill more. Its also possible that YOU are the killer, and you need to throw others off your scent.

Being a social deduction game, there are no dice, stats, or cards. Just the character you come up with and the information you learn from others. Each character has a specific job that grants them special abilities during the night phase.

COSTUMES are strongly encouraged! This is going to run similar to a live action role playing event. Costumes and a willingness to jump into a character really help the vibe. Rural/Gothic Victorian will fit well perfect. This will be a multi-room event. You are encouraged to roam about the floor to confer with other players in order to solve the mystery. You will not be locked down to a table - or even one room. Roam around and wear comfortable shoes.

"An immersive gaming experience like no other!"

Howdy, I'm SP or 'Boggs'. I’ve been playing RPGs for the better part of 10 years. I mainly run Dungeons and Dragons but I have a massive collection of games of all shapes and sizes I like to run. I've had a career based on teaching and I'm most thrilled to teach games. You may have seen or heard me at SeaQuest during education sessions and tours. So, animals are a passion. Ask me anything about animals. I'll have an answer. And feel free to ask me about my favorite penguin!
