"A Classic D&D Homebrewed Adventure!"

Join me for a custom D&D campaign in a brand new world that you help create! Over the course of four sessions, we’ll create a party of memorable characters with personalized backstories, connect them to each other through bonds of friendship, rivalry, and desire, and lead them on a wild adventure of high drama, hard choices, and fast-paced, lethal combat. And when the first four sessions are over–who knows? Maybe the story goes on...

• Game System: Dungeons and Dragons 2024/5e

• Experience Level: 🟩 None: No experience necessary. We love teaching!  

This adventure will use Dungeons and Dragons 5.5E and is designed to take characters from level one to level three. In the first hour of our first meeting, we'll hold a “Session Zero,” in which we will:

• Choose the adventure! (Pirates? Soldiers? Explorers? Adventurers’ Guild? You'll decide!)

• Learn about URDA, the campaign setting for this adventure. (And put your own spin on it!)

• Create characters using any official published 5.0 or 5.5 material, or use one of my custom subclasses or backgrounds!

• Form your team with a quick, guided role-playing session to establish bonds of friendship and shared history between characters.

• Discuss Lines and Veils to ensure that every player at the table is comfortable with any content that might appear in the game.

Once that's done, we'll get right into the action! You can expect to fight for your life at least once in our first session.

A Multi-Session Mini Campaign

This mini campaign includes 4 private sessions which will be about 3 hours each, playing with one of our community Game Masters in the most immersive and private setting of Mythic Hall. You'll have plenty of one-on-one time with the Game Master and enjoy the times with your party of adventurers. Bring your party and friends or make new ones at the table.

Hello, I'm Alex! I've been running games for almost 20 years--mainly Dungeons and Dragons, but also Shadowrun, D20 Modern, Star Wars, and others, plus lots of indie games like Dread and For the Queen. I'm also a teacher, voice actor, writer and producer of award-winning theater, films, and audio drama, so I love introducing new players to the hobby and I bring a sort of performance art, theater-kid flair--not too different from gaming shows like Critical Role or Dimension 20--to every game I run. Whether you're a TTRPG veteran or brand new to gaming, I'll make sure you have a fun, safe, and memorable time at the table. Let's play together!

• Create and bring your own Level 1 character built in D&D Beyond. Otherwise, pre-generated characters will also be available.

• No experience necessary. We love teaching!

• Ticket is for all 4 sessions on the dates/times listed above.

What should I bring?

• One set of dice (though a hoard is never frowned upon)

• Bring your character sheet ready to play or DnDBeyond app. Otherwise, pre-made character sheets will be provided.

• Bring your character miniature. If you don’t have one we can 3D print one for you! Design it yourself at Hero Forge and we can have it ready for you at the table.

• Note-taking supplies (pencil or pen and notebook or paper)

• Anything else? We have a small physical storefront with dice, notebooks and other fun stuff we're sure you'll love. So, if you forget your dice, or find a set you fancy in our collection we will have some available for purchase.
