About

"THE APOCALYPSE WILL BE TELEVISED."

After a long game night at your local immersive tabletop gaming space, you and your friends start your trek back home. It was a fun game, even if the DM was a bit of a loud mouth. Even though its cold outside, you decide you could use the fresh air and make the decision to walk home. Its not that far and its a fairly safe area.

SLAM!

That's when the world goes dark. Then the announcement comes, in a strange robotic cadence, seemingly inside your head.

Surviving humans take note.

The words that follow don't make sense. What the hell is a World Dungeon? What the hell is the Syndicate? What just happened? All you know is that its freezing outside, and the only light you see is a bright beam in front of you. So you descend into the dungeon. Unfortunately, you happened into the middle of a major gaming tournament. God help you all. The smell is terrible.

  • Game System: Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG

  • Experience Level: 🟩 No experience necessary. This is a LEARN-TO-PLAY event and we love teaching!

Dungeon Crawler Carl Roleplaying Game

Dungeon Crawler Carl is a LitRPG series of novels following a man and his ex-girlfriend's cat trying to survive an intergalactic gameshow. Its surreal. Its comedic. Its tragic. Its absurd. Trying to explain it is a fool's journey. This is the TTRPG based off of the series. Bring your own crawler and hope to God they survive what comes next, but make it a show. Give the universe something to watch.

Want to Learn how to build your Crawler?

We'll be doing a 'Build a Crawler' class just before this session. So, grab a seat there if you want to make it a day.

A Single One-Shot Game Session

This private session will be about 3 hours playing with one of our community Game Masters in a private setting of Mythic Hall. You'll have plenty of one-on-one time with the Game Master and enjoy the times with your party of adventurers. Bring your party and friends or make new ones at the table.

Built for a Private and Game Experience

  • The seat cap is 6 players for an optimal experience

  • This session is in a quiet, private room.

Meet your Game Master.

Howdy, I'm SP or 'Boggs'. I’ve been playing RPGs for the better part of 10 years. I mainly run Dungeons and Dragons but I have a massive collection of games of all shapes and sizes I like to run. I've had a career based on teaching and I'm most thrilled to teach games. You may have seen or heard me at SeaQuest during education sessions and tours. So, animals are a passion. Ask me anything about animals. I'll have an answer. And feel free to ask me about my favorite penguin!

Game Details

  • Bring your character and mini: create a Level 1 DCC RPG character. If you also take the Build A Crawler class, bring that character. Otherwise, pre-generated characters will be available.

  • No experience necessary. We love teaching!

  • Ticket is for all 1 session on the date/time listed above.

What should I bring?

  • One set of 7 polyhedral dice (though a hoard is never frowned upon)

  • You can bring your own character sheet and mini. Otherwise, pre-made character sheets will be provided.

  • Character miniature. If you don’t have one we can 3D print one for you! Design it yourself at Hero Forge and we can have it ready for you at the table.

  • Note-taking supplies (pencil or pen and notebook or paper)

  • Anything else? We have a small physical storefront with dice, notebooks and other fun stuff we're sure you'll love. So, if you forget your dice, or find a set you fancy in our collection we will have some available for purchase.
