In this dark fantasy setting from Ghostfire Gaming, most heroes aren’t paragons of justice; they’re mortals with foibles and flaws. In turn, few villains are avatars of pure evil hell-bent on destruction. Dark fantasy stories rarely culminate in wholly happy endings. Innocent lives are lost just as frequently as evil ones, and people must sacrifice all they hold dear to achieve their ends. The choices the characters must make have no righteous answer—only the lesser of two evils.

A Multi-Session Mini Campaign

This mini campaign includes 3 private sessions which will be about 3 hours each, playing with one of our community Game Masters in the most immersive and private setting of Mythic Hall. You'll have plenty of one-on-one time with the Game Master and enjoy the times with your party of adventurers. Bring your party and friends or make new ones at the table.

Hi there, I'm Walt. I've been a DM across various games and editions for most of my life, starting over 30 years ago. I play as many RPGs as I can, and own far more than I'll ever play, but D&D will always be my first love. I love TTRPGs because they offer a communal, inclusive space for people to get together and create awesome stories. I love roleplaying-heavy games with moments of intense combat and tough moral choices.  

Game Details

• Bring your character and mini: create a Level 1 D&D 2024 compatible character built in D&D Beyond. Otherwise, pre-generated characters will be available.

• No experience required.

• Multiple Dates: This game lasts 3 sessions. Purchase of this ticket includes admission for all 3 dates including:

  • Wednesday, June 3rd

  • Wednesday, June 10th

  • Wednesday, June 17th

• This is a mini-campaign organized to introduce this new Grim Hollow campaign setting. Characters will start at level 1 and are created using the D&D 5.5e/2024 Player's Handbook and the Grim Hollow Transformed Player's Guide. Once players have signed up for a session, I'll send an invite to join my D&D Beyond campaign, provide access to the books, and share character creation rules). But if you don't have a character, no worries, pregens will be available. Your character will gain levels and rewards at the end of each session, and you're welcome to bring them back to future Grim Hunt games to continue their story as we hope to grow this into a full campaign!

  
  

What should I bring?

• One set of dice (though a hoard is never frowned upon)

• You can bring your own character sheet and mini. Otherwise, pre-made character sheets will be provided.

• Character miniature. If you don’t have one we can 3D print one for you! Design it yourself at Hero Forge and we can have it ready for you at the table.

• Note-taking supplies (pencil or pen and notebook or paper)

• Anything else? We have a small physical storefront with dice, notebooks and other fun stuff we're sure you'll love. So, if you forget your dice, or find a set you fancy in our collection we will have some available for purchase.

Content Warnings

RATED R for content and not recommended for children under 18. Every game, game runner and player is different.
