About
"I am the ancient. I am the land. My beginnings are lost in the darkness of the past. I am not dead. Nor am I alive. I am undead, forever." - Tome of Strahd
Legend speaks of a forgotten realm - one shrouded in a choking fog and inexorable darkness. This land is known as Barovia. Once a realm of prosperity, now plunged into dread and despair, forever dooming those trapped within its borders to the will of its dark master. High above the lands in Castle Ravenloft an eternal storm brews within this ancient seat of power - Where lord Strahd Von Zarovich eternally schemes, forever seeking his next amusement and as tale would tell, those he sets his eye upon are forever bound to the will of this land. All roads twisting before them forever leading closer to the mists. For those who find themselves entrapped within the snare of these dark powers, there is only one question you must ask yourself - will you be a light in this loathsome land? Or just another soul lost forever to the darkness.
Curse of Strahd is widely regarded as one of the best Dungeons and Dragons campaigns (if not THE best), praised for its strong story in a gothic horror setting with rich atmosphere, player freedom and a highly memorable and most chilling villain.
Game System: Dungeons and Dragons 2024/5e using the Curse of Strahd module

Meet your Game Master.

I am known throughout the gaming world as EliOfSwords. As a long time adventurer and Game Master, it is a great honor to inscribe my name into the legend of Mythic Hall.
With around 10 years of experience as a Dungeon Master I have run many different systems and over the last three years, I have taken the show on the road, starting my career as a public DM at the Olde Dominion Fantasy and Medieval Faire and co-owner of World Weavers Productions to continue bringing the excitement of Dungeons and Dragons to new places.
With a play style that is new-player friendly and veteran engaging, I have hosted numerous of public games and made many life long friends along the way.
With me, cosplay is always a plus. I am almost always in period attire. So, if you want to, feel free and join me. But don't feel like you have to.
