About

"A live-action roleplaying murder mystery game."

Welcome to the city of Ravenswood Bluff, where the sound of buses clattering over cobblestone streets fills the air as residents bustle through their mundane lives.

But as night descends, the smooth notes of jazz and laughter seep from the walls of hidden speakeasys, belying the city’s legitimate storefronts. In the early hours, men and women drunkenly spill onto the streets, blearily glancing at the towering clock in the city square on their way home, calculating the amount of sleep they can get without being late for work. Across the square the domineering shadow of Clifthaven Manor looms over the streets invoking both uneasiness and curiosity in those who pass by.

"A scream pierces the air, echoed by the clocktower bell..."

The Manor is home to the eccentric millionaire Ellie Clifthaven. You, the select few, have been invited to her annual end of summer celebration. Each of you carries your own story and unique skills. Among you, some may harbor dark intentions—perhaps even connections to the supernatural. As your stay in the manor progresses, you and your fellow guests must piece together clues to a terrible mystery. Will you navigate this exhilarating dance of deception, and uncover the truth lurking in the shadows? Or are you the tragic recipient of a Deadly Invitation?

Life-Action Roleplaying Murder Mystery

Blood on the Clocktower is a larger scale (15 players) social deduction murder-mystery game where you will take on the role of one of the party attendees(or THE KILLER) at Clifthaven Manor. A killer has infiltrated the event and you need to investigate and decide who it is before they kill anyone. Its also possible that YOU are the killer, and you need to throw others off your scent.

In this type of game, there are no dice, stats, or cards. Just a few prompts to help you imagine your character and the information you learn from others. Each character will have a specific talent that grants them special abilities during the night phase.

Meet your Game Master.

Hello, Friend! My name is Holly. As a children’s librarian and a mother of two, I’ve dedicated countless hours to bringing storytelling to life. I enjoy introducing people to RPGs and have run several programs at the Franklin County Public Library highlighting their benefits for children and teens. Feel free to ask me about it!

I’m an avid reader, and often read three or four books at a time. My favorite book is The Hobbit, which I read every September to celebrate Bilbo’s birthday. I do hold some rather controversial views on DNFing (Did Not Finish) books, but I make no apologies!
