About
"I'd tell you to go to hell, but... here we are."
The Devil's Due
Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus
Begining in the infamous city of Baldur's Gate, fear, corruption, and political unrest have left the people on edge. Refugees pour into the city from the neighboring holy city of Elturel, which has vanished without warning, leaving behind only rumors, panic, and unanswered questions.
As the adventure begins, the characters find themselves drawn into the turmoil surrounding Baldur's Gate. What starts as a local crisis soon reveals connections to ancient bargains, celestial powers, and the eternal conflict between devils and demons known as the Blood War. The fate of entire cities and countless souls may depend on those willing to uncover the truth.
Whether your character is a hero seeking justice, a mercenary looking for opportunity, or someone with a personal stake in the unfolding events, Descent into Avernus offers plenty of reasons to become involved. The choices your party makes throughout the campaign will shape not only your own story but also the fate of those caught in the struggle between heaven and hell.
Game System: Dungeons and Dragons 2024/5e using the Baldur's Gate: Decent into Avernus module
Experience Level: 🟩 Some. You've played it a bit and understand the basics.
The adventure explores themes of temptation, redemption, sacrifice, and the cost of power. Players can expect a mix of urban investigation, dangerous wilderness travel, infernal intrigue, and high-stakes exploration in one of the most iconic and hostile planes of existence: Avernus, the first layer of the Nine Hells. This campaign is designed for characters who are willing to confront impossible odds, navigate moral dilemmas, and decide what they're willing to risk when the line between salvation and damnation becomes increasingly difficult to see.
"An immersive tabletop gaming experience like no other!"

Meet your Game Master.

Well my name is Connor, I will also tell you that I answer to 'Bear'. I've been an avid if not emphatic player of RPGs for just about my entire life, starting with games like Final Fantasy and LoZ. When I was younger I was introduced to the world of TTRPGs via a week long Pathfinder campaign, and since then I've been broadening my horizons and having all sorts of adventures. I'm a semi-accomplished GM, with about 8 years collectively under my belt. I've trekked through the burning plains of Avernus, swam in the Astral Sea, walked in the fields of Alyssum, and crawled above and beneath the ground of Faerun, beholding the wondering lights of the Underdark.
Oh the stories one could tell, the legends that were written before our heros have even begun. Let's share a tale over a table, shall we?

Expect this campaign to be heavily horror-focused.
This will be a WEEKLY campaign (Wednesdays 6pm-9pm)

Ticket purchase is for 10-sessions for 1 player. This will re-up as the campaign continues every 10 weeks.
What should I bring?
One set of dice (though a hoard is never frowned upon)
You can bring your own character sheet and mini. Otherwise, pre-made character sheets will be provided.
Character miniature. If you don’t have one we can 3D print one for you! Design it yourself at Hero Forge and we can have it ready for you at the table.
Note-taking supplies (pencil or pen and notebook or paper)
Anything else? We have a small physical storefront with dice, notebooks and other fun stuff we're sure you'll love. So, if you forget your dice, or find a set you fancy in our collection we will have some available for purchase.
