Ten days ago, the world went dark from an unknown cause. Civilization is starting to fall apart as generators fail and gas supplies started to diminish. Monsters of the darkness known as "Them" arrived, and now anyone who leaves the safety of light never returns.

Ten Candles is a collaborative story telling game lead by a GM. Players narrate the last few hours of their characters lives by an ever diminishing source of candlelight. It's not a game you can 'win' - everyone dies. But it is a game you should expect to enjoy! It's also a zero prep game for players - characters will be created before the session starts and the rules are fairly simple.

A Single One-Shot Game Session

This private session will be about 3 hours playing with one of our community Game Masters in the most immersive and private setting of Mythic Hall. You'll have plenty of one-on-one time with the Game Master and enjoy the times with your party of adventurers. Bring your party and friends or make new ones at the table.

Hi! I'm Justin. I've been a DM/GM in multiple countries for just over 7 years and am one of the rotating DMs in Monday's Scaleblade sessions here at Mythic Hall. Though most of my experience is with D&D I do enjoy exploring other TTRPGs hence my love of 10 Candles! Expect superb British accents (I'm British) and a GM style that is welcoming to new and old players alike. My main job is an educator and so I love to help others enjoy themselves and suceed.

Game Details

• Characters will be built during the game.

• No experience necessary. We love teaching!

• Ticket is for all 1 session on the date/time listed above.

• NOTE on PHONE use: Phones, tablets and other lighted devices should NOT be used during this game. The game relies on darkness and a phone screen will ruin everyone else's immersion. So, we ask no phone at the table for this one.

What should I bring?

• Note-taking supplies (pencil or pen and notebook or paper)

• Anything else? We have a small physical storefront with dice, notebooks and other fun stuff we're sure you'll love. So, if you forget your dice, or find a set you fancy in our collection we will have some available for purchase.
