About
"I want to be a Dungeon Master! But it seems so complicated."
Hey, we got you!
This class will teach you the fundamentals on running a game of Dungeons and Dragons - becoming a Dungeon Master (DM). We'll go over how to read a campaign guide, how to prep for a session, making NPCs, and more! By the end of the class you'll not only be ready to run a game, you'll be fully prepped to run a one shot session that we will prep together as a group.
As long as you have a cursory knowledge of Dungeons and Dragons (and even if you don't) you'll do just fine in this class. The scariest part of being a Dungeon Master is taking the first step. We're here to take that step with you, on the right foot!
Game System: Dungeons and Dragons 5e 2024
Experience Level: 🟧 Some experience as a PLAYER is helpful. DM experience is not necessary. This is a LEARNING event and we love teaching!

(includes may vary and adjust as we plan to ensure the value is at least the price of the ticket (if not more).

Meet your Instructor.

Howdy, I'm SP or 'Boggs'. I’ve been playing RPGs for the better part of 10 years. I mainly run Dungeons and Dragons but I have a massive collection of games of all shapes and sizes I like to run. I've had a career based on teaching and I'm most thrilled to teach games. You may have seen or heard me at SeaQuest during education sessions and tours. So, animals are a passion. Ask me anything about animals. I'll have an answer. And feel free to ask me about my favorite penguin!
